Disruptive Innovations in Transportation Discussed at Lunch & Learn at Union Pacific

Over twenty young professionals came together for networking, lunch and a presentation on Disruptive Innovation in Transportation on May 9th at Union Pacific's headquarters in downtown Omaha.

Union Pacific's Vice President and General Manager of Ag Products, Brad Thrasher, provided insights on disruptive technologies in the transportation sector. The presentation was extremely interactive and ended with a lengthy Q&A session where attendees discussed topics including self driving vehicles, trucks using platooning technologies, accepting and regulating these new technologies as wells as discussed Union Pacific's extensive work on Positive Train Control.

Attendees found the event informative and enjoyed getting to know more about Union Pacific and the transportation sector.
